The University of Jordan, represented by the Consulting and Training Center and the Biological Cell Company for Laboratories and Medical Research “Baby Cord,” signed a memorandum of understanding for training cooperation.

The University of Jordan and the Baby Cord Biobank signed an agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation between the academy and the university in the field of training students in genetics, stem cells, and general laboratories. This agreement opens broad horizons for university students and graduates to develop their skills in the rare specializations offered by Babycord, in cooperation with the University of Jordan. This partnership will provide students with the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and research in the field of genes and stem cells and provide practical training in public laboratories, which will enhance their chances of obtaining job opportunities and developing their future careers. The agreement was signed by Dr. Muhammad Al-Muqaba, Director of the Consulting and Training Center at the University of Jordan, and Dr. Maher Al-Sarraf, Chairman of the Board of Directors, on behalf of the Babycord Biobank. Babycord Bank is considered the only bank in Jordan and the region specialized in storing stem cells and includes a comprehensive specialized center for genetic consultations, testing, and hereditary health. The bank has many important accreditations, including accreditation from the American Association of Blood Banks and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in addition to many other accreditations.
