This course provides a thorough and in-depth training on some of the most common applications of cell culture. Participants will engage in both hands-on training and theoretical instruction on cell cycle, specialized cell function, cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions, toxicity testing, drug screening, and cancer research. The course will cover a wide range of cell culture applications such as cell counting and cell viability, cytotoxicity, enzyme inhibition assay, and cell imaging to study cell cycle and cell structure.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be proficient in:

·        Performing Accurate Cell Counting and Viability Assessments

·        Performing Cytotoxicity Assays Such as The MTT Assay

·        Assessing Enzyme (Commonly Upregulated in Cancer) Inhibition Activity

·        Studying cell cycle phases and cellular structures

·        Understanding the Principles of Each Application
