This course introduces the concepts, techniques, and testing used in Reproductive Genetics in a simplified manner. Participants will be able to understand the current advancements in reproductive genetic testing and asses their utility, validity and possible limitations.

Learning outcomes

Target Audience:

·       Undergraduates and graduates in medical laboratory, biology, biotechnology, and genetics.

·       Health care professionals: Physicians, Nurses.

·       Researchers in the field of reproductive genetics.

By the end of this course, participants will be proficient in:

·       Apply genetic knowledge in reproductive medicine.

·       Master Reproductive Genetics Techniques and test.

·       Understand the relationship between chromosomal abnormalities and reproductive success.

·       learn about the use of genetics in the prevention of genetic diseases in future progeny

·       learn the importance of Genetic Counselling in reproductive medicine.

·       Understand the terminology and interpretation of genetic reports.
